š¶ Songwriting Critique Session š¶
The Music Academy of Westchester is hosting an Intensive Songwriting Critique Session featuring Multi Grammy Award Winning Songwriter/ Producer/ Publisher, Robert Cutarella.
Step into the world of hit songwriting and enjoy being mentored on the techniques great songwriters use to create the magic you hear in their songs everyday. Robert has worked with many amazing writers over the years including; Sting, Ryan Tedder, Kenny Loggins, Sir Paul McCartney, Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Sir Elton John and a host of others. Their techniques and uniqueness will lead you to becoming a better songwriter.
This session will consist of critiquing hit songs by contemporary writers such as Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Post Malone, Sia, Dua Lipa and many others. We will also study songs by John Mayer, Sting, Stevie Wonder and writers whose songs have lived for many years. There will be aĀ Q&A session and a break before critiquing songs that you have written.
Please feel free to send a link of your demos and lyrics toĀ musicacademyofwestchester.com. If you wish to perform live, we will need your lyrics for everyone to see. Please bring an acoustic guitar if you play and we will provide a keyboard for those who play keys.
